“This new collaboration with such an iconic maison as Veuve Clicquot allows me to explore new horizons,” she says. “I am grateful to be able to pay tribute to Madame Clicquot by interpreting this new vintage through the prism of her optimism and audacity.” In all her work, she elaborates, she seeks a balance of joy and creativity. “For this new edition of La Grande Dame, I tested a range of six nuanced colors and created a graphic play of light to show them at their best.”

Along with the collector’s boxes, Paronetto also devised a composition of three giant bottles (Giganti Bottiglie), accompanied by a jeroboam of La Grande Dame 2008, three magnums of La Grande Dame 2012, and six bottles of La Grande Dame 2015. The limited-release set takes two months to create and is entirely handmade by Paronetto. Her signature and a personalized plaque complete the set.
Topping off the collaboration, Paola created a monumental work: a yellow version of her Giganti, over four meters tall, which she sees as a carrying forward a message of optimism.

“We are delighted to continue the story of La Grande Dame, our exceptional wine, created in homage to Madame Clicquot,” says Jean-Marc Gallot, chairman and CEO of Veuve Clicquot. “La Grande Dame embodies the savoir faire of the house, as well as our love of pinot noir. For this new vintage, we are honored to collaborate with Paola Paronetto. She was inspired by nature and her reading of color to come up with the design. Her work once again instills a profound message of optimism.”
