14 Idyllic Hotels Featured on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette | Architectural Digest

Located 5,249 feet above sea level at the foot of the Matterhorn, this 140-year-old hotel was seen throughout the final episode of season 16 of The Bachelor, which starred Ben Flajnik. With 77 individually furnished rooms and suites, the resort has an aesthetic that manages to stand out among its picturesque mountain views. Notably, the hotel’s three restaurants are each uniquely designed to complement the cuisine: open-kitchen Alpine Gourmet Prato Borni has a modern vibe, while Brasserie Lusi is bright and boasts an outdoor terrace. Saycheese!, meanwhile, presents a more relaxed, cozy atmosphere.

Conversas de Alpendre, Vila Real de Santo António, Portugal

After a dramatic breakup in Portugal and an eventual reconciliation, season 23 Bachelor Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph ended the season as a couple, but broke up in May of 2020.

With a name that translates as “porch conversations,” this charming hideaway retreat, built with Portuguese woods, tiles, and textiles, is designed to be a meeting place for heartfelt discussions among loved ones. It seemed The Bachelor season 23 contestant (and eventual winner) Cassie Randolph took the name to heart during their stay, when she told Colton Underwood that she felt that she had to leave the show—causing him to (now infamously) jump over the property’s white fence in a dramatic exit. Most guests, however, will have trouble pulling themselves away from the rustic hotel’s saltwater pool, fruit trees, ancient olive trees, and accommodations that include a wood treehouse built on top of a carob tree.

Shangri-La Hotel, Chiang Mai, Thailand

Becca Kufrin jetted to Thailand with her final three men (eventual winner Garrett Yrigoyen, Blake Horstmann, and Jason Tartick) during her season of The Bachelorette.
