Power couple David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly summering along the French Riviera, Amalfi Coast, Corsica, and Sardinia on a yacht dubbed Madsummer, according to the Daily Mail. The 95-meter vessel is available for private charter at the handsome price of roughly $1.926 million (£1.6 million) per week, touring the Mediterranean in the summer and the Caribbean and Bahamas in the winter. If they are indeed aboard, the Beckhams and their family have access to luxurious amenities that include a 12-meter swimming pool, spa, diving facilities, and a helipad.
Constructed in 2019 and designed specifically for private charters, the superyacht was built by Lurssen, a German family-run shipyard founded in 1875 and currently in its fourth generation. Madsummer can accommodate up to 12 guests in 10 guest cabins and a crew of up to 30, according to Moran Yacht and Ship, the company that manages the vessel. It has a steel hull and is capable of a speed of 18.5 knots.

The yacht’s exterior was designed by Harrison Eidsgaard, a London-based superyacht and aircraft design studio. The contemporary interiors were designed by Laura Sessa, who said in an interview with Superyacht Times that she is “often identified for [her] love of colors.” That is certainly clear from images of the structure’s interior, which benefit from bold swaths of bright color. Blues and reds are used most frequently, lending a classic maritime theme to the ship’s overall aesthetic. Attractive toffee-hued woods and textiles balance the intensity. Modern furniture is used throughout, often employing a pleasingly curvy silhouette. Every area provides a seemingly endless array of eye-catching details, and some practical hidden ones as well. “In my designs, I always like to incorporate special custom details in the mechanisms, knobs, and handles… I keep some things secret,” Sessa told Superyacht Times while pointing out hidden storage in a Madsummer hallway.
